What are ELE and culture courses?
The ELE and culture courses are programmes of Teaching Spanish as a foreign language which, in addition to learning the language, include an immersion in the culture of Spanish-speaking countries. These courses are designed for those who not only want to learn Spanish, but also want to better understand the cultural and social context in which the language is used.
These courses combine language learning with cultural experiences which may include:
History and art
Classes that explore the history of Spain and Latin America, as well as their rich artistic tradition, allowing students to better understand cultural expressions.
Film, music and literature
Introduction to Hispanic literature, music and film, which helps to grasp cultural nuances, idiomatic expressions and popular traditions.
Traditions and customs
Students learn about festivals, local customs, gastronomy and other aspects that enrich their understanding of everyday life in Spanish-speaking countries.
Immersion activities
Guided tours, excursions, cooking workshops and other practical activities that allow you to experience Hispanic culture first-hand.
